A City Official, an insider on the drama of the Libby Council has told me that the Libby Police Department is not going to be Eliminated. It was told to me that Bill Bischoff wants this and the commissioners want this so that they will get the $350,000 in their budget. But that the City Police Department does not want this in any way.
So, for the record, the Libby Police Department has no intention of being eliminated and turned over to the County Law Enforcement.
